Gain the knowledge and confidence to use ChatGPT responsibly and create more dynamic, engaging and personalised learning experiences.

Activity Type: Physical Mobility

Duration: 1-week course for professionals from all Erasmus+ eligible countries and all educational levels.

Building Confidence With ChatGPT and Generative AI

As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly present in education, teachers need a clear understanding of how tools such as ChatGPT work, what they can do and where their limitations lie.

This course introduces educators to ChatGPT and the essential concepts behind generative AI. Participants will explore how language models produce responses, why results must be evaluated critically and how effective prompts can improve the relevance and quality of generated content.

Through practical activities, participants will use ChatGPT to support lesson planning, develop learning materials, generate ideas, adapt activities and simplify selected administrative tasks. They will also consider how ChatGPT can support creativity, collaboration and critical thinking.

The programme addresses ethical use, privacy, bias, accuracy and responsible classroom integration. Participants will discuss how to establish appropriate expectations and guidelines for learners while maintaining the essential role of the educator.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to use ChatGPT more confidently, evaluate its output critically and make informed decisions about integrating generative AI into their educational practice.
