Inspire, Innovate, Educate: Integrating Creativity into Teaching

Develop practical ways to bring creativity, innovation and active participation into your teaching while supporting critical thinking and essential learner competencies.

Activity Type: Physical Mobility

Duration: 1-week course for professionals from all Erasmus+ eligible countries and all educational levels.

Turning Creative Ideas Into Meaningful Learning

Educators are increasingly expected to respond to diverse learning needs, encourage active participation and prepare learners for a rapidly changing world. Creative teaching can help address these challenges by making learning more relevant, engaging and learner-centred.

This course provides practical experience with creative and innovative teaching methods. Participants will explore visual thinking, mapping techniques, brainstorming, project-based learning, inquiry-based learning and design thinking.

Educators will learn how to redesign traditional lessons, use digital tools purposefully and create activities that develop curiosity, communication, collaboration and higher-order thinking.

The programme also examines how creativity can be assessed without limiting learner experimentation. Participants will explore teacher, peer and self-assessment and develop criteria for evaluating creative processes and outcomes.

By the end of the course, participants will have developed a practical collection of ideas and a creative classroom project ready to adapt to their own educational context.
