Sustainability in Action: Environmental Education for Teachers

Turn sustainability into action by creating engaging learning activities and meaningful environmental projects for your school and community.

Activity Type: Physical Mobility

Duration: 1-week course for professionals from all Erasmus+ eligible countries and all educational levels.

From Environmental Awareness to Meaningful School Action

Climate change, pollution, waste and biodiversity loss are among the greatest challenges of our time. Educators have an important role in helping learners understand these issues and become responsible, active members of their communities.

This course equips educators with practical activities, engaging resources and project ideas for integrating environmental education into different subjects and age levels.

Through interactive workshops, group projects and real-world examples, participants will examine consumer habits, waste management, biodiversity, nature education, climate justice and community action.

The course places particular emphasis on turning knowledge into achievable action. Participants will learn how to develop student-centred initiatives ranging from small classroom activities to wider school or community projects.

By the end of the programme, participants will have designed an environmental project and developed strategies for evaluating and communicating its impact.
